People is a terrific centre, with a great staff that is caring and
compassionate for both the children and their work. We are very
comfortable knowing that they are approachable and they deal with
all issues with the best of interest of the child at heart. The
programs in place are fabulous and the children learn so much more

behavior as well as teaching them about all the different ethnic
groups and celebrating special days with their friends of different

children have been enrolled at Children Are People since they were 1
year old. They have both had wonderful experiences at Children Are
People. They are well cared for in a safe, warm and nurturing
environment. The teachers are caring and dedicated in helping each
child grow in knowledge, while developing socially and emotionally.
It is apparent that the teachers love the children and there is a
true involvement and commitment by each teacher toward each child.

“It was June
of 1998; my son was placed in the Baycrest Child Care Centre. It was
an exciting year for him to interact with other children. This
centre provides excellent care for the children and every morning a
nutritious snack is served, hot lunches are provided and also an
afternoon snack. The staff members are great and are very
approachable. I enjoy visiting the centre anytime, any day. It is
open from 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. This centre is a friendly
environment to visit and when you walk into the hallway, you feel
the warmth, and you see the smiles. Each room is beautifully
decorated and the teachers are very creative. The centre is a little
home away from home and what I like most about it, is the love that
is given to the children and the interest that is shown. My son is
always excited to go to the daycare. There is so much love between,
staff, children and parents. All the staff members are fully trained
to provide the best care for the children. The centre also provides
lots of activities and especially in the summertime they go on trips
to different places and to movies. Baycrest Child Care Centre is a
learning environment. My son was never bored, he learned so much and
did lots of fund things. The centre would have special days like
Pajama Day, Crazy Hat Day etc. How can I forget the annual spring
concert, this is an exciting time, one cannot afford to miss. You
have the toddlers to school age children participating and even the
teachers themselves. How can I forget the cook, who makes the best
fry dumplings and most of all the supervisor, who has been the best
supervisor I have met. Her goal is for the children to continue to
get the best care the centre has to offer. She has an open door
policy and everyone is always welcome to speak to her. Her motto is
– “If you are not happy, they are not happy”. As of today, Feb 28,
05 my son still attends the centre. He is now 8 years old and is
enjoying every minute that he is there. I would recommend anyone to
visit this centre and be part of Baycrest Child Care. Last by not
least, my older son was placed at the centre as well. He spent five
years there and enjoyed every minute of it. When it was time for him
to leave at the age of 9, he cried not to leave. The teachers told
him he could come back and visit anytime. So, make Baycrest Child
Care the place for your child and remember “If you are not happy,

“My daughter
has been attending Pineway Child Care Learning Centre –
preschool program for almost 2 years. I have seen dramatic changes
in her since she began attending the program. I still remember that
she was a shy and very dependant little girl who used to hold
herself back when she saw new faces and didn’t have any English
words (we speak Chinese at home). But now she speaks fluent English
and learned the English from the reading program. She can write her
name and recognize many shapes and numbers. She enjoys the music
program very much and knows many English songs. She has made many
friends and is a social, independent and happy preschooler getting
ready for school. I am very proud of her and thank your teachers and
staff at Pineway Child Care Learning Centre for their hard work and

been enrolled at Pineway Child Care Learning Centre for
nearly one year. During this time, I have experienced a beautiful
spring concert, received 4 full folders of their work and also had a
parent-teacher meeting made available to me to discuss their

“My children
have attended Pineway Child Care for the past two years. My youngest
child was the first child who attended Pineways’ Toddler program. I
was thrilled that I could have her close to her siblings, who
attended Pineways’ School Age program. Shortly after she began in
the Toddler program, I notice positive changes in her development.
She was picking up many words, and was very active and curious in
trying new things. She also began toilet training and achieved this
goal thanks to all the support and encouragement from her teachers.
I was happy that with all her new vocabulary I was now able to
communicate with her. She has learned many new songs and finger
plays and is always excited to share them with me when she gets
home. Now that she has moved into the preschool room, I continue to
see wonderful improvements in her development and know she enjoys
being at the centre. As for my older children, they love the School
Age program and all the trips and activities, especially during
summer camp. Even when there is a P.D. day at school, the children
still want to come to daycare, and that’s how I know it is a
wonderful program. I am very satisfied with Pineway Child Care

extremely satisfied with the professional child care services
provided by the daycare Children Are People. Their focus and
attention to child safety is communicated to both the children and
parents on an ongoing basis. It did not take long for my daughters
to happily adjust to the positive daycare environment provided by

activities they have participated in at the daycare. The After
School Program encourages my daughter to complete her regular school
homework, as well the children engage in projects directed by the
